Starting a Social Impact Coffee Shop

Evelina Godecki is the founder and owner of Kind Grounds, a coffee shop in Los Angeles with a mission to 'Create Kinder Coffee'. Kind Grounds puts this mission into practice in three ways: sourcing responsibly, donating a portion of their profits, and staffing through local job support organizations. Evelina graduated from the University of Southern California with a major in Public Policy, an emphasis in Philanthropy, Nonprofit, & Social Innovation, and a minor in Business Administration. After college, she worked for Qvest as a Senior Consultant in the Implementation and Product practice. During her time at Qvest, she spearheaded the social impact initiatives and now leads the culture initiatives.
